Crowley So, LLP is proud to partner with Kalijarvi, Chuzi, Newman, and Fitch, P.C. (KCNF), the American Foreign Service Association (AFSA), and Democracy Forward to stand up for Foreign Service Officers affected by USAID’s Reduction in Force (RIF).

Our attorneys have represented USAID employees for more than 15 years. We have seen firsthand their professionalism, dedication, and the essential role they play in delivering humanitarian aid, advancing global development, and promoting international stability. The actions of DOGE and USAID to rapidly dismantle the Agency and eliminate its entire workforce will have devastating consequences to these employees personally and to U.S. interests worldwide.

These actions also violate federal law and USAID’s own RIF procedures. We are preparing an appeal to file with the Merit Systems Protection Board and will seek class action status on behalf of all USAID Foreign Service Officers who are subject to the RIF.

This effort is funded by AFSA and Democracy Forward, ensuring that individual employees will not bear any costs related to the class appeal.

Data Collection

If you are a USAID Foreign Service Officer and have received a RIF notice, please consider completing our data collection form. This will help us identify potential class members and assess violations of law and policy.
